First of all: my deepest aplogies for not updating today. My only excuse is that something AMAZING came up and I was very occupied with it today….
I went to AMSTERDAM INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK!!!!!
It was an amazing, fantastic, abso-f-ing-lutely top of the world day for me! How did I end up there? My dearest Mascha (Beautygloss.nl) gave me another kick under my a** and it worked out in a way I could never imagine.
The day started really messed up as I partied a little bit too hard on Soenita’s sisters wedding (indians rock!) and had to get up at 08:30 to pick up my bike on the other side of town and go to the city to replace the heel tips of the heels I HAD to wear (wore them to the wedding where the heel tips were ruined by dancing very enthousiastically;)).
It all didn’t matter because when I arrived (way later than planned due to perfect look issues) Mascha and Mirjam (La moon jewelry) were waiting to show me the ropes on how to survive fashion week:D.
First of all there was some goodie bag action involved:
There was a huge vase filled with all kind of Redken products! The ladies told me the purpose was to get some of the products, but of course not too obvious as it isn’t fashionable to be greedy:). Whaaaaaaaaaaa no need to say that twice to the cheapo queen 
! I grabbed some stuffies (LOVE free stuffies, I’m totally Dutch!) and totally forgot about the not looking very fashionable snatching away some cool products!
Now after that we chilled some more and checked out everyone who was there (total catwalk by itself, really a lot of eye candy outfits!). Soon it was time and we entered the runway room, I sat on the last row constantly pinching myself I was really there! Next to me were two very sweet ladies from Maybelline, who arranged Mascha would have her make up done by Maybelline’s make up artist Clayton:
The show was fantastic, lots and lots of great outfits especially for the office! I loved every second of it and the music made me want to dance on the catwalk. Afterwards I was just so excited, and wanted to see more!

Aaaah I got photographed as a streetheart, going to see if my picture is hanging there tomorrow (yes I’m going to another show:D)
I also got to go backstage (at the courtesy of Maybelline) to film how Mascha’s make up was being done by Maybelline’s make up artist Clayton. Fantastic to see backstage I can tell you (wait how many times did I use fantastic, fabulous and awesome:D?) and there were really pretty models!
Finally we went to eat some nice good nom (PIZZA!!!) and ended the day chatting about what a great day we had and just having some good LOLz.
I’m off to bed sweeties (ex to the hausted to the bone!), tomorrow the show pictures (hope to get my hands on some press pictures as my cam was constantly too slow), my outfit and some very cool AIFW street style pictures:D!
