Asos slash neck knitted dress
Following last weeks post I started thinking about what other really comfy combo’s I make when I’m recovering from the weekend and trying to speed up on Monday. Next to last weeks casual outfit my other favorite option is some kind of sweater dress. The looser the better and to compensate the loose shape I definitely recommend wearing it with killer heels. Or if you want to go for ultimate Monday chill mode: flats!
Nothing beats a good sweater dress, as it is something I very well could have worn at home because it’s so comfortable. Next to the comfort it is also a brainless piece, as you simply put it on and you’re good to go. Oh and did I mention it looks really good? I can never believe I’m getting compliments when wearing a sweater dress, as it’s just too comfy to feel very dressed up….Oh well, perception is everything, right?
So the next time you’re struggling on a Monday morning, and would love to feel like you’re still wearing your comfy home outfit, go for a sweater dress!!!
How are you handling this Monday? I just came back from Berlin, so stay tuned for an update about that one!
Wishing you a fantastic start of the week!
“Kate Middleton-esque” Zara dress with open back
Zara snake print pants a.k.a. Nagini pants for the Harry Potter lovers among us
I couldn’t resist another sale shopping round at the Zara, especially when I saw this dress which I had my eyes on for a couple of months! A couple of clicks further on I found these amazing snake print pants and couldn’t resist putting them in my shopping bag as well. In the mean time both goodies arrived (the Zara online store rocks!) and the dress is gorgeous, but size xs is definitely not made for ladies with a chest. It’s a bit tight unfortunately, nevertheless still doable and I’m just in love with that dress!
The snake print pants are insane! They are so amazing and I actually didn’t plan on wearing them to the office, untill two of my colleagues said they were doable if you can just tone it down with for instance a black blazer and black heels. Still have to try it out though, but I did wear them to the movies the other night and let me tell you those pants are not what you want to wear if you don’t want to attract attention from others. They got me crazy looks during the whole evening, and I didn’t mind one bit because I adore them!
Did you score more goodies in sale? And how do you feel about these snake print pants in the office? Love to hear your thoughts!
Wishing you a beautiful evening!

With the gorgeous weather, we’ve had the last couple of weeks in Holland, I so have the feeling summer is right around the corner! And what’s the most easiest thing to put on in the morning when you’re rushing or simply don’t feel like thinking about decent combo’s? Right! A dress!
I so love dresses for their comfort and ease in the morning. Therefore I window shopped a little bit online and completely fell in love with these 5 super fun dresses, which I would love to wear this summer! Especially the bright hues are to die for. Can’t wait for the summer to arrive!
I’m off now to check out a new place to live in Amsterdam! Fingers crossed!
Wishing you an amazing day!
I just recently realized how many rainbow patterns I’m seeing around me lately and looking for a cool rainbow outfit I came across this picture of Christine Centenera. Absolutely love everything about it and it immediately set me off to a search for some similar dress!
Asos Galactic Rainbow Smudge Print dress – € 72.16
In just two minutes I found this one on Asos…Simply adoring the nude/bright colored/rainbow colors combo! Would love to wear this one to the office with a simple black blazer and nude heels. I probably would wear a longer nude colored skirt or dress underneath it as the bottom part of the dress is transparent. That would just make it a little bit more covered up and comfortable for me.
Wishing you a bright and shiny day!
- H&M coral dress
- Superstar cream blazer
- Colors of Benetton ankle boots
With temperatures above 20 degrees all last week I am a VERY happy girl! And a happy girl needs a happy dress! This was the perfect timing to take my coral dress, which I bought when it was waaaaay cold, out for a spin. Still with tights, but the bright color totally matches my mood and the weather <3!
How did you spend easter? Had a great time in the sun as well?
Have a great one!

I used to hate pink when I was a bit younger. I’m getting more tolerant towards it the older I get, but I guess it will never become my favorite color. Also for the office I find it a very tricky color. Especially if you’re into heels, dresses and skirts. IMHO wearing pink in the office is a very thin line between professional nice looking to just cute. And you really shouldn’t want the latter.
AnywayI got this dress in december at the H&M in sale and loved it the minute I layed eyes on it. The poofy sleeves, the comfy model and the gorgeous buttons on the back still make me heart it big time. The only downside is it somehow feels like a nightgown, so I decided to only wear it with an extra black bodycon dress underneath. That way it feels safe, if you know what I mean…
Well there’s a whole new week ahead! Are you excited? I have to get a few things started so I think I’m going to have a busy week!
Wishing you a great start of the week!

Finally here are some pictures of my SuperTrash dress. I love it because of it’s simpleness, but definitely not boringness, due to the stud details (yes I still love studs) on the side. This detail is not in your face, but does make the dress stand out. The only downside is I can only wear this dress on “skinny” days, when my tummy doesn’t decide it’s time to act like I’m 3 months pregnant!
Also another cool thing: I discovered the SuperTrash online store now also delivers in the Netherlans and maybe in your country as well! So worth checking out!
Today is an awesome day, as it’s a big coming out day at my work about my blog. I never made a secret of it, but I definitely wasn’t very chatty about it either, because I wanted to build it up first. Today I am part of the bloggerpanel at the Hill & Knowlton Demytifying Digital event. This includes discussing blogging related topics with fellow bloggers in front of an audience of nearly 200 people! SO excited!
How does your day look like today? Busy hours ahead?
Wishing you a beautiful day!

Finally I managed to take some pictures (well actually convince the BF to take them:D) of the dotted Zara dress which I bought on sale!

A while ago I ordered some stuff at H&M. As predicted they took their time:), and I’m still waiting for my jacket:). The good news is the dress is in and I love it! It’s the perfect *black, but not boring* dress. You could already see a sneak preview in a Tweet as I was wearing it on my real birthday. Today some better pics (sorry posing as the H&M model is just a FAIL when I do it;), but I tried really hard to look normal:D)!
Before we get to the dress, something else you could also already see in a Tweet: My purrrfect trencher ! Oh man I’m so in love with that thing I’m really afraid of wearing it:( (I looked for a trencher for over a month, untill I found this one). Murphy’s law always bites me in the buttock when I’m really crazy about something.
I’m already clumsy by nature, but when I really, really, REALLY like something (check the puffed shoulders *melting*LOVE*) it’s bound to be doomed. Well I will have to gather all my courage one of these days, as it’s really too beautiful to just be hanging in my closet, with me just staring at it with big powerpuff girls eyes filled with love (LOL I reaaaaally love it). Below some pictures of it as well.
The trench coat is from Zara en the heels are from the Dutch store Van Dalen (I got them from a really sweet colleague who didn’t fit them)
Well thanks for reading and have an easy peacy day! Ivana
Lolzers! My second outfit post yaaaaay! This outfit is really chill when I have to wake up early, as I’m dressed in like 5 mins without any brain activity needed (dresses are the best!). Just put on some tights, this dress and a blazer. DONE:D.
Also it is very cool, as studded items can be a bit up for discussion in the office. This dress is perfectly fine and I’ll do a post soon on more items with studs as they’re totally hot at the moment.
Dress: Shenzhen, Tights and blazer H&M, shoes vintage
I also have really good memories of this dress as I bought it in China/Shenzhen when were in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is a shopping paradise by itself, but Shenzhen is like the wildest shopping dream that you ever had. Times 10.
You have cool dresses, pants, and shoes and the best part: everything costs like nothing! I bought this dress for 3 euro’s! It’s crazy and the only place where I said I wanted to stop shopping (that’s like I lost my mind haha). There was a very long street with shoes on both sides of the street. Oh my freaking G, I was dizzy of shoes, as there were a couple of ten thousand pairs and they were all like 5 euro*faint*.
The only bad things (yes this has to be done, because nothing’s perfect:), not even Shenzhen) are:
- You definitely have to bargain and bring a local as no one speaks English.
- The quality is not good, my heel tips of the shoes I bought there, fell off the first time I wore them and I ripped one pants.
- You have to have size -10. I’m an L over there LOL
- You have to watch out for crazy children of the corn, as one grabbed my brothers girfriends’ leg and didn’t want to let go! I had to rip the kid off of her, and it was the craziest thing I experienced haha!
Anyway this all is worth it and I have Shenzhen in my heart (ooeeeeh they also have the best massages for bubkiss haha).
Peace to Shenzhen! Ivana
